Today's food place is the newly opened breakfast/brunch place --- Piato Brekkie!

To our horror, we opened their facebook page this morning and saw the news that they're closing! No worries tho', 'cause they will definitely reopen once they find a new location to operate. Follow them on Facebook to get all the news about their whereabouts!

*their last operating day is 30th May 2014. If you're still in time, you best hurry over and have a try!* 

As for now, let's move on to their glorious food, which cannot be found anywhere else in Miri. :O~

Location: Pelita Area - A small station, in the middle of Cheerie Berries, Al Fresco and Viva Bar. 

Operating Hours: 8am - 1pm

Serves: breakfast/brunch

Seating: Limited (so may the early bird get the worm!)

 Big Breakfast with scrambled eggs (RM18)

Big Breakfast with poached eggs and additional Pork sausage (RM18+2)

 Smoked Salmon Benedict RM15

Fresh Watermelon Juice RM7

Bacon Tart (it was on the house that day - thank you! -)

so so sinful, if you're a fan of bacon, give it a try!

Mix and Match Breakfast RM10+

One good thing about this breakfast place, is that you get to customize your own dish. Having a bad morning and nothing on the menu appeals to you? Create your own! Gobble your meal down and make sure nothing stops you from enjoying your day. :)

been meaning to try out their pancake but it was sold out the second time I was there. It's alright. Will definitely find another time to have a try, because it looks so divine. T.T

Hong Bing Cafe 香槟茶室

i'm guessing not many have heard about this cafe? it's actually been open for quite awhile, belongs to the parents of a friend. we went to try out the food the other day and it was superb :9 

it is located in town, near the fish market. when you see the fish market, go straight and turn left into the parking lots. you should see the signboard reading "Hong Bing Cafe" in the block after the fish market.

I know how confusing the town area can be, so I drew a map for you! :D

Golf Club Laksa

Wee brought us for Laksa the other day. the place is like a small shop in the middle of the golf course.

from the Piasau Bridge, turn left (direction towards Golf Club) and keep going. after passing the Golf Club clubhouse, you'll notice a few houseshop on your left. according to Wee the Mee Jawa and Laksa there are delicious too! but we haven't had the chance to try them out.

however, keep going straight still, until you notice a small hut in the middle of the golf course (on your left). that's where we had our laksa. ;)

Pujut 2 Kolo Mee

hello again. we've been MIA for quite awhile, being too caught up with school stuffs and enjoying life. :D 

anyways, I noticed we have a few new followers? 

thank you for visiting our blog!! *tears of joy* 

since it's the holidays now, i'll try my best to post some updates with the food pics I have.

a friend of mine suggested that Pujut 2 sells the best Kolo Mee in Miri! so we went to try it out. 

it really wasn't that bad. very yummy. not pricey as it's just a normal Kopi Tiam. but really recommended. :9 

the con is that the portion is quite small, or maybe I just have a big appetite. xD
it's worth a try. ;)


the place is right opposite ITS, the tuition centre in the shoplots in Pujut 2. :]

Ming Xin Cafe 茗馨咖啡

had breakfast at Ming Xin Cafe.

it's located at the shop lots in King's Park. most left side of the block, same block as Dayang office.


the food there is yummy, especially the laksa (though slightly pricey :s)
without further ado, it's picture time!

one of the best laksa i've ever had :)

not only that, they also serve Dim Sums.
 and according to Wee, it's the same Dim Sum as served in Grand Palace, but slightly cheaper than GP.

Piasau Wan Tan Mee (YuLee WanTan Mee)

it's quite old the place

but there's lot of ppl thr having their breakfast :)

do have a try thr!!!

erm..duno the name actually

just know the chinese name only

煎饼 (jian bing)

not really nice if u tapao for it

cos it is tasty just when it is hot

it tastes like roti canai

with egg in between

the egg is so tasty

duno how they made it

if they can add one or two more layer of egg

then i think it will be more tasty!!!

(sorry i'm too in love to egg)

wonder whether anyone noticed, there's a new eating place in Miri! --- Shukie

it's located behind Miri City Food Court. quite noticeable because the building is designed nicely. you definitely won't miss it!

however, the parking is kinda limited. same goes to the menu. perhaps they'll add more variety to their menu in the future? let's just wait and see. :)
