Imperial Restaurant

Thank you for all the encouraging comments/emails, they really made our day. 

today's pick is Imperial Restaurant's Caesar Salad. 

I was introduced to this dish by a friend of mine, who was (and probably still) very much addicted to it. I for one am not really a salad person, but Imperial Restaurant's Caesar Salad is pretty impressive, not only in looks but in taste as well.

I think the price is reasonable too. 

Feeling fat and in need of a detox? Head on over to Imperial Restaurant, located inside Imperial Mall, for a taste of their healthy but scrumptious Caesar salad. :D 

Hong Bing Cafe 香槟茶室

i'm guessing not many have heard about this cafe? it's actually been open for quite awhile, belongs to the parents of a friend. we went to try out the food the other day and it was superb :9 

it is located in town, near the fish market. when you see the fish market, go straight and turn left into the parking lots. you should see the signboard reading "Hong Bing Cafe" in the block after the fish market.

I know how confusing the town area can be, so I drew a map for you! :D

hello again. we've been MIA for quite awhile, being too caught up with school stuffs and enjoying life. :D 

anyways, I noticed we have a few new followers?

since it's the holidays now, i'll try my best to post some updates with the food pics I have.

a friend of mine suggested that Pujut 2 sells the best Kolo Mee in Miri! so we went to try it out. 

it really wasn't that bad. very yummy. not pricey as it's just a normal Kopi Tiam. but really recommended. :9 

the con is that the portion is quite small, or maybe I just have a big appetite. xD
it's worth a try. ;)


the place is right opposite ITS, the tuition centre in the shoplots in Pujut 2. :]

Silver Spoon

non-halal restaurant

pork belly soy (served with mash potato)

bacon and mushroom pork pie *recommended*

 triple treat (burger with 3 kinds of meat i thk) HAHA
 the keropok is nice!! the sauce delicious :)

just that citrus served halal food but silver spoon is non-halal

Ming Xin Cafe 茗馨咖啡

had breakfast at Ming Xin Cafe.

it's located at the shop lots in King's Park. most left side of the block, same block as Dayang office.


the food there is yummy, especially the laksa (though slightly pricey :s)
without further ado, it's picture time!

one of the best laksa i've ever had :)

not only that, they also serve Dim Sums.
 and according to Wee, it's the same Dim Sum as served in Grand Palace, but slightly cheaper than GP.

Station One

i know we're late, but better late than never right? xDD

Station One, a new restaurant in Bintang Megamall.
the place offers a nice atmosphere for you to hang out with your friends, listen to good music be it radio or live (only during night time though). a perfect getaway to chillax with friends.

on top of that, the food served is yummy! (most of them) and a large variety of drinks/desserts are available.

okayy time for the foods!! just looking at them makes my stomach growl and mouth water :(

honestly it tasted weird, plus when it wasn't served hot. so yea, not recommended.

ahh it's been awhile since our last update. been busy, mostly lazy though ;)
to make up for it, some new updates for you. hehe *big smile*

as you can see from the menu, they serve Kelabit cuisine. 

we heard that the nasi lemak there is nice, so we went all the way to try it out. 

It's located at the shophouses opposite the Miri Airport. so if you're staying around the area, feel free to try it out.

so that's it for this post. the nasi lemak was so so, but it was specified that the rice is Bario rice. haha so yeah, feel free to try this place out. hehe :)

Citrus

Citrus. i bet a lot of you are familiar with this place.
it is a nice place for gatherings, birthday celebrations or just to hang out and chit chat away. the interior design of the place is nice, with cute paintings hanging on the walls. there's even a cute comic strip in the toilet!

as for the food? yummy~ :9
