located at the shophouses right beside Permy Mall. it's not hard to find, just try circling round the shoplots and you'll see it. :)

a lot of restaurants providing Steamboats are opening up in Miri, but I must say, this one is definitely one of the best.

why? because they're not stingy when it comes to food. all the prawns, shells are HUGE!! so is the variety of food available there. :B

just look at the size of the prawn! i've been to quite a lot of steamboats in Miri, and this is the first place with prawn this big! /drools

meat meat and more meat!

our soup overflowing from all the goodies in it. ahaha xD

more and more dessert place are opening up in Miri. i guess it's sort of a good news? but i don't really like the fact that these shops all sell similar desserts. #justsaying

it's located at the shop lots in King's Park. beside Our Daily Bread Shop.

the food there is yummy, especially the laksa (though slightly pricey :s)
without further ado, it's picture time!

one of the best laksa i've ever had :)

i know we're late, but better late than never right? xDD

Station One, a new restaurant in Bintang Megamall.
the place offers a nice atmosphere for you to hang out with your friends, listen to good music be it radio or live (only during night time though). a perfect getaway to chillax with friends.

on top of that, the food served is yummy! (most of them) and a large variety of drinks/desserts are available.

okayy time for the foods!! just looking at them makes my stomach growl and mouth water :(

honestly it tasted weird, plus when it wasn't served hot. so yea, not recommended.

ahh it's been awhile since our last update. been busy, mostly lazy though ;)

as you can see from the menu, they serve Kelabit cuisine.

we heard that the nasi lemak there is nice, so we went all the way to try it out.

It's located at the shophouses opposite the Miri Airport. so if you're staying around the area, feel free to try it out.

Citrus. i bet a lot of you are familiar with this place.
it is a nice place for gatherings, birthday celebrations or just to hang out and chit chat away. the interior design of the place is nice, with cute paintings hanging on the walls. there's even a cute comic strip in the toilet!

to make up for that, a new update! on an eating place introduced by Wee, as always. (she knows the best places to eat hehe)

sorry for the bad pic. not sure of the name of the place, but it's opposite the Madam Wee shophouses, right beside the round about? limited parking spaces. but the food's not bad :)

delicious. with a lil' bit of sour in it. nyummssss <3

okayy that's it. this three dishes cost us RM30++. (dish serving for 3 ppl)
the rice they serve is A LOT. so if you don't eat much, 1 plate of rice can be shared among two. :)

hello everyone. tried out a new steamboat place -- 883 BBQ Steamboat Buffet, located in Permyjaya. (Open Daily 5pm-12am)

it is easy to spot. at the shophouses beside the McD DriveThru.

the price is rm25 for adults, rm13 for children (5-12 years old), free for toddlers.

as you can see, the price is reasonable. and there is a wide selection of food to choose from.

and what makes this steamboat place better than the rest?

well......

they have a chocolate fountain!

with marshmallows, fruits etc to go with it.

not only that, you can even make your own abc/ice kacang. play with the ingredients however you like! :p

(excuse the emptiness, they refilled the ingredients when we arrived.)

our last visit was quite some time ago, i must say the place has improved a lot. from the decorations, to service speed etc. attitude is definitely good. the people there are friendly. :D

we tried out their special burgers that day.

XL Beef Burger - RM8.00

2 beef slices + 2 cheese slices. very very sinful. yum yumm
love their special sauce.

Wee brought us for Laksa the other day. the place is like a small shop in the middle of the golf course.

from the Piasau Bridge, turn left (direction towards Golf Club) and keep going. after passing the Golf Club clubhouse, you'll notice a few houseshop on your left. according to Wee the Mee Jawa and Laksa there are delicious too! but we haven't had the chance to try them out.

however, keep going straight still, until you notice a small hut in the middle of the golf course (on your left). that's where we had our laksa. ;)

Nikko is located near Shukie. the place is quite fancy, with nice decorations, and a fountain inside.

as for the food, it is quite pricey. so a visit once in awhile will do.

didn't really like the rice though, it was too sweet!

tried out a new place with ze family the other day.
it's located at the shophouses behind Dynasty Hotel.

if not mistaken, it's right opposite CM Restaurant. :)
(sorry, i'm not familiar with the area hence no map)

as stated in the name of the shop, it serves Philipino delicacies. which means pork, pork and more pork. hehe Philipinos love their pork.

so if you happen to offend the waitress, you better check if they add any extra ingredients into your dish. haha just joking~

this is a famous Philipino dessert! and i can't believe i actually forgot the name of this dish T.T

but trust me, it is so nice yet fattening. :| (poker face because i'm happy and sad at the same time)

hello everyone. our finals are over. so time for some update! (:

had dinner at Miri Cafe the other day. it's located beside Taman Yakin, and beneath Thai Bar. *wiggle brows

the menu. looks nice on the outside. sadly there isn't any pic of the food in it. :\

the interior. no aircond, just fan inside. and as you can see, they serve liquor :D

okayy, time for the food!

appetizer. Mushroom soup.

and some Wedges. :D it's just as nice as the ones in KFC. and comes with mayonnaise
forgot the price, but it is reasonable.

Salad. this comes free with certain orders such as Fish and Chips, Chicken Chop. check the menu for more details.

my steak sandwich. around rm15-16 if not mistaken. as you can see, they don't love me cause they burnt muh sandwich
the sandwich's okay. though i highly recommend Mr Ho's compared to this one. :)

heard from a friend of mine that SR has a limited edition Yoghurt Cheese cake. sounds nice so we went there for some cakes! :)

i remember blogging about trying out the kebab's in Piasau Nice Kebab like forever ago. and at long last, ~~finally,~~ we dragged our lazy arses and headed to fill our tummies.

you can choose your order via a touchscreen machine, that's something new in Miri. quite a lot of choices of ice to choose from, prices are around rm5.

wonder whether anyone noticed, there's a new eating place in Miri! --- Shukie

it's located behind Miri City Food Court. quite noticeable because the building is designed nicely. you definitely won't miss it!

however, the parking is kinda limited. same goes to the menu. perhaps they'll add more variety to their menu in the future? let's just wait and see. :)

our actual plan was to have dinner at Bamboo Cafe. after going through all the trouble of finding it, turns out the place wasn't open for business that night (monday). =.=

so instead, we headed to Airy Cafe :)
it's located at the Boulevard shop houses. right beside MyStore.

the atmosphere of the place is nice. you can sit inside, which is air conditioned or outside, where you can chat as loud as you like.

also, the people working there are very friendly. they are smiling all the time! ^-^

Thai Boxing Chicken. rm8 for 5.
very nicee. there is a mild taste of wine which adds flavour to the chicken. yumms!

pineapple fried rice. rm4.50

nestle chicken rice - rm6.50
not bad. though the nestle was a little too sweet. :S

went to Excapade Sushi in Kuala Belait, Brunei with a bunch of friends.
we had dinner there.

the place is famous for its sushi's. yum yum (:

the size of the sushi is like, double the size of the ones in Sushi King.!
that's why if you're living in MIRI, you're lucky.
cos Excapade Sushi is only 1hour (or less) away ! woots <3

the totally drool-able menu. (lovesss)

only order sashimi set if you know how to eat raw fish. if not it'll all go to waste. :(

{honestly, it's quite hard to spot. try asking around, just in case.}

炸酱面 (fried+sauce+mee) - rm7

honestly, the food here quite expensive. but the above dish is nice!!

tastes like spaghetti, only more special.

definitely recommended.

麻酱面 (ma jiang mee) - rm7

egg + cucumber + carrot on top of the mee.

yumms!! :P

though expensive, the food here are really special and delicious. :O~

as for the drinks, most are milk tea's.

we had Jasmine Milk Tea + Pearl - rm4

and

Yam Milk Tea + Pearl.

other drinks such as milo ice are also available, but costs rm3.50.

so milk tea more worth :P

other Taiwan dishes are also available. worth a try (:

the roti telur not bad!

plus the sauce was spicy, just to my liking. ;D

according to her,

Chinese - Mee Hoon, Mee Sua

plus, you can have a clear view of the sky, quite nice the scenery d:

this is the roundabout beside Boulevard.
the one beneath the flyover.

keep on driving straight after you turn left at the traffic light,
the place is easy to spot, cos you'll see lots of cars parking there.
just follow the arrows and you'll be fine.
